Project: Web site design
About: A typical example of a website design that does what it says on the tin, the navigation is easy and accessible, as the readership could be of any age. Quite a difficult challenge as the copy supplied was not very wordy, so balancing the images and copy was a slight challenge that has been achieved well. All the back end meta tags have proved successful and achieves page 1 results on Google for the area. You can view the site here: www.domesticappliancerepairsbath.co.uk

Web designer
design
Client: Alison Wilding
Project: 13 page web site
About: As a highly trained and accomplished homeopath, Alison has many a string on her bow, this website had to incorporate many features and different pages, Homeopathy, Earth Energy Healing, Flower Essences, Emotional Freedom Technique, Clutter Clearing, Neuro Linguistic Programming and of course a simple CMS (Content Management System) for her news & events page. The site also had to hold a visually distinct sub page for her group 'The South West Circle of Registered Homeopaths' which is cleverly linked in within the site, why not see for yourself at: www.alisonwilding.co.uk

Event Web Design
design
Client:
Whole Nine Yards Productions
Project: OLD 12 page web design
About: WNY commissioned me to design their logo and website, the first of which is covered in the logo design section. With the website, it is a 12 pager and combines the subtle use of flash to introduce the wonderful header illustrations (commissioned to Carys Tait) on a simple HTML/CSS structure. The site also uses jQuery javascript for the pop up images and of course a small script for the forms and newsletter sign-up. The site uses a rough texture throughout which had to be optimised as best as possible for load time. You can no longer view their OLD site, sorry.

Builder website design
design
Client: Vernon Stokes
Project: A website for a local builder
About: Local builder, Vernon Stokes approached me to design a small website for him that would be visible (get found) on Google, his current website was done by the giants ThomsonLocal.com and was pretty hopeless, so I got him to purchase a new SEO friendly name and set up the site correctly with all the on page SEO I could muster, and without any off page optimisation it achieves a page 1 result on Google for the search term 'Builder Bath'. www.builderbath.co.uk
NB: Client had let domain name expire and was not live last time I checked.

Accountant Web Design
design
Client: FinanceDept.biz
Project: Single page web design
About: Helen Turner didn't have too much money to spend, so as I had already done a leaflet design for her, it was easy enough to convert this to a single page website design for her. A single elegant scroll down page, but very strong visually at the same time. Visit her site at: www.financedept.biz

Marketing Web Design
design
Client: Callan Consultants
Project: Business to business marketing website
About: Callan wanted a web design based upon the logo design I had previously done for them, I designed the unique navigation to flow over an enlarged section of their icon which gives a strong graphic effect. On the initial page, a flash design was created to loop once, depicting the different elements of marketing, in a gentle slow manner. The site has news stories, newsletter sign up and testimonials designed in throughout. Visit their site at: www.callan.org
